Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician

WRAD Health, Alcohol & Other Drug Team, is made up of a small number of professionals dedicated to making a difference.   The team operates in a supportive and dynamic environment.   We are passionate about the work we do.   The Alcohol & Drug Team strives to make a difference.

We currently have a full-time position in the Alcohol & Other Drug Service.  

The position requires experience in the following: –

• one to one counselling, telehealth & phone counselling
• The ability to make referrals where necessary
• To engage with Clients who are referred through the justice system.
• Working with people in a Dual Diagnosis capacity
• A knowledge of the MS Office suite of Programs
• Experience in maintaining a Client Database

The person we seek will have the following: –

• At a minimum, a qualification in Alcohol & Drugs.
• Previous experience in the Alcohol & Other Drug Sector is an advantage.
• Passionate about working with people to support them to achieve their goals.
• Offer a service with a Harm Minimisation lens
• The ability to work within a team.
• A current police check and Working with Children check or ability to obtain.
