A recent donation from the South West TAFE Community Chest to WRAD Health means more than just money.
The $620 donation reflects the connection between WRAD Health and SWTAFE and the importance of our connections with the community.
“WRAD Health staff feel that being nominated as the recipient of the donation reflects the work they do every day and is a show of support from an external organisation,” operations manager Chris Kendall said.
Our staff plan to use the donation in a way supports clients.
The SWTAFE collective ‘Community Chest’ was established with the intention of being able to aid welfare, support and community agencies in the region.
The relationship between WRAD Health and South West TAFE, staff and students, goes back a long way. We have both been recipients of mutual support and training, and have a number of staff at WRAD Health who completed their training through South West TAFE.
WRAD Health offers a medical practice, an alcohol and other drug service and a number of allied health practitioners, including a dietitian and psychologist. We continue with our traditional ethos of providing health services to everyone at no cost.
If you’d like to support our work in caring for the community, you can donate via our website.
