The Western Regional Alcohol and Drug Centre has recorded a major achievement in receiving full accreditation from Quality Improvement Council (QIC)
WRAD has been awarded three years National Quality Improvement Council (QIC) Accreditation.
The QIC assessment team praised WRAD’s unique service model with its strong integration of medical and clinical services that enables integrated service response to clients.
The team also praised WRAD’s continued development of its business model and strategic expansion of the medical service; the financial management of the organisation; its visibility in the media and its commitment to community development and capacity building activities.
WRAD was also praised for partnering with large organisations to improve the local service system and its responsiveness to sector reform
“WRAD’s services to clients are of high quality and well -coordinated with strong integration between the medical and clinical services as well as demonstrated referral relationships to other services,” the assessors state.
